Meet the Heart Behind Pawsitive Vibez

Hi! I’m Chris Alberts, proud founder and owner of Pawsitive Vibez LLC—a woman-owned and operated business built on one simple belief: 

Every animal deserves kindness, patience, respect, and unconditional love.

Animals have been the center of my life for as long as I can remember. With nearly 30 years of hands-on experience working with well over 100 different species, my passion has taken me everywhere from dogs and cats to farm animals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, aquatic life, wildlife, and countless exotic species. 

For me, caring for animals has never been just a career. It’s my purpose. 

I believe every animal has emotions, fears, unique personalities, and their own way of communicating. Learning to understand them has become one of the greatest joys of my life. 

As a certified professional groomer, certified in Dog & Cat CPR and First Aid, and someone who continues to expand my education in animal behavior, nutrition, veterinary assisting, canine studies, and Fear Free practices, I believe there is always more to learn. Every new skill helps us provide an even higher level of care to the animals and families who place their trust in us. 

But Pawsitive Vibez has grown into something much bigger than just me. Today, we are a team of passionate animal lovers who share the same vision, to provide exceptional care while treating every pet like one of our own. 

Whether we’re welcoming a puppy for their very first groom, patiently caring for a senior pet, helping an anxious rescue build confidence, working with an exotic companion, or simply offering comfort to an owner who wants the very best for their beloved family member, our goal is always the same: to create a positive experience built on trust, compassion, and genuine care. 

A Spirit of Service

At Pawsitive Vibez, we’re proud to offer so much more than professional grooming. Our services include professional dog, cat, and select exotic grooming; therapy animal visits for schools, nursing homes, hospitals, churches, businesses, and community events; ESA education and outreach; educational animal encounters and birthday parties; wildlife rehabilitation and rescue efforts; and community events that connect people and animals through education and compassion. 

One of the projects closest to our hearts is our nonprofit community outreach program, Hanging With Heroes. Through this program, our therapy animals visit local police departments, fire stations, EMS crews, dispatch centers, veterans, and other everyday heroes who dedicate their lives to serving our communities. 

It’s our small way of giving back to the people who spend every day taking care of everyone else. Because heroes deserve support, too.
